Plein-Air Landscape Paintings

The paintings are inspired not only by nature's beauty but by the constant movement of change from erosion to new growth and rejuvenation. Within there is the constant awareness of our lands fragility. The works attempt to capture a sense of place, character, essence and an asthetic appeal and delight of beauty in the form, color, and shapes.

A Statement by the Artist

A painting to me is like a poem without words. I paint from nature and attempt to put down the rhythm, movements, spirit and essence of what I see and feel.
